Florida wanted a guarantee they could get his son, SR. said no you're not going to use my name to steal my son, so the result is this. Wanted his son to be his own man and choose where he wants to go. Don't think money is an issue with them anyway.

I think Surtain Sr would make an excellent DB coach, but I'm glad they didn't hire him, it would have affected his son's decision even though I still think he is solid to LSU.
