I think Coach O is definitely going to attempt an early morning pop-up like he did with K'Lavon. I expect him to target an OLB/DE/DT.

this class will be fine...but I do think we need another QB....I would prefer a mature transfer who can throw it as well as Brennan is being touted...because injuries do occur...two QBs is not enough going into the season...all other positions are seemingly covered

I wouldn’t expect any surprises on early signing day, just given the nature of it.

For the past week or so I've felt LSU has a better chance at landing Ja'Marr Chase than most believe. I feel like family will ultimately be the deciding factor.

Yes, Surprises will happen because with the early signing now, if a player doesn't commit early, College coaches are saying they won't have a scholarship available. That will piss alot of players, parents and coaches off. While also leaving a bad taste with high school coaches for the future recruits.

Well then they need to get used to it. They shouldn't commit if they aren't committed and with this new signing period, these coaches are being blunt with the players, sign or how committed are you?
I'm sure it's case by case basis but the majority don't have that luxury any longer. It's the way it is now. The rules are different now so they can't be too mad at the programs for moving on if they have that option. If anything they should be mad at themselves for either not really committing or not deciding on which school they want to commit to. 2 months shouldn't make all that much difference in your decision. You should know all you need to know unless you just want to play games and IMO it's good that it cut a lot of that playing out.

You Sir, BayouBengal are correct!
But, I am sure the really big croots will still tend to make a big production out of signing or announcing, just gives them more options on when.
Hope some of those surprises and big croots on TV are all wearing Purple & Gold!
