Yeah that’s my favorite highlight of the year .
He’s definitely a defensive guy - he reminds a lot of us of Kendall Beckwith.

Beckwith played QB for EF in the same district as Dunham too. Did a little DE too.

I'm honestly not sure with him. He's not fast enough to be an rb. That highlight alone shows it. He was physically on a different level than those he played against which again that highlight shows. KB was/is much faster. He won't have the same physical advantages. But that can be said about a lot of high schoolers. He has an incredibly thick trunk and could add good weight. He definitely was carrying bad weight this year. For me he's hard to place. My best guess is somewhere on the defensive line or perhaps fullback. He was seriously 260-270 this year. If he comes here, let Moffit get him in good shape and then who knows?

He’s Definitely a defensive player . That’s not in question. I think the question is considering his build, where does he end up on defense.

I've heard Aranda wants him as a DE

He is for sure on the defensive side. I was unaware that he also trucks people as a RB at Dunham

HIs body type remind me of Courtney Upshaw from Alabama. Upshaw was 6'2" 260 coming out of highschool. Played OLB buck position in the 3-4 and DE in nickel alignments.
With William's athleticism, and being 6'1" 240+... I could see something similar. Just depends on his pass rush skills and motor.

I agree he would be best served as a JACK/BUCK LB. He's naturally built like Devin White but lacks the speed and explosiveness to play ROVER LB.
He's going to have to work on his footwork, speed, and explosiveness at the next level.

like a highbred Linebacker? Devin White type?

Upshaw is a good comparison. My thoughts exactly.
Williams is 260+
I don't think he has the speed to play D. White's spot.
But he does to play DE.
Melvin Ingram also similar type player.
