I live in Abita Springs now and it's just ironic that I live to one of the biggest "micro" breweries in the country that I barely drink. I would be in heaven if they started producing something I REALLY liked.

They've failed in trying to compete with the smaller guys. Probably why their market share is being eaten up by those same small guys. They have the equipment and resources to make great beer, but for some reason, refuse to brew great ales and focus almost completely on meh lagers. The ales they do brew aren't that great either.

Maybe they either don't know how to brew good beer (which i doubt) or they just refuse to change, which is more likely.

Bug,
once they see people in this state latching onto parish, great raft, GB type beers, don’t you think at some damn point they will hire at least one brewer who has experience in this to pump out NEIPAs, I just think at some point they will give in. They probably make enough money to not give a shite. Maybe just wishful thinking on my end. I just fantasize a day when we will have a release like they had at parish last Saturday and it will be in my backyard in Abita! Lol
