Do you realize that due to Title IX if you pay 85 football players you also have to pay 85 female student-athletes the same ammount of money?

Title IX's probably the most massive and obvious legal hurdle to overcome for these member institutions if they decide to do this, not to mention state and federal tax law will apply for the players' income and antitrust violations regarding wages as employees and federal immigration law concerning foreign athletes enrolling in schools, etc it's all a big clusterfrick that simply can't be solved unless laws are repealed or drastically altered at the legislative level. It's SO obvious why courts generally rule in favor of the NCAA and her member institutions in these cases, they're acutely aware of all the implications produced from such massive decisions and precedents. My solution: the NCAA needs to just chill out if a student-athlete receives an "impermissible benefit" or whatever and not impose draconian punishments, we all know it happens just chill it's really NBD.
