Your best bet will be to have him in the club with his friends. This will keep his interest level in the game.
Take the opportunity to talk to coaches and directors who are connected to the sport. State what you have posted here and ask for their help. They can point you in the right direction as far as camps, and at his age, it is probably best to focus on those camps where his friends will be in attendance.
This is the age (although it seems young) where you should gently push him if he is really interested in the sport so he can advance with other kids his age. Keep it balanced with other things that are important to your family, keep him competitive while teaching him the sportsmanship that only a good parent can, and do everything you can to keep it fun.
