re: how crappy was your first apartment?

I got really lucky the first time I moved out on my own. I found a newly fully renovated apartment in Spanish Town in a building full of crap apartments. The fact that none of the others had been renovated made my rent low (around 500). The people in Spanish Town aren't really my type but it was cool living next to the downtown area.
