Had a younger one raise up at me up north. He was too close to run. So I did the only thing I could think of, squared off, possibly shite my pants, and roared louder than tiger stadium.

when i was in the navy and in Jax - was deer hunting on a navy base and thought I saw a couple of hogs down a pipeline - got them in the scope and had to do a double take - it was a she bear with 2 cubs.. did not even know FL had bears.. .glad i didn't shoot
