re: who i would like to see LSU finish with

1. A QB
I think we will take a QB. Following Canada's "fool's errand" trip they'll evaluate chances and narrow it down to one and tell him "we've decided we want you in this class". Right now: Foster, Rogers (long shot flip?), Bohannon. Maybe Corral gets an offer depending on how Canada percieved him. Not as far as attitude, but as far as do we want to risk not getting one of those 3.

2 & 3. Surtain and Cook.
No way we don't take them. The OP's question was who would we like to see, not who we'll get. So I included Cook; even though it's looking real good for him.

4. A RB, gonna have to be Joiner.

5. Marshall, Chase, or Watkins.
I think we get Marshall. I think Chase would be just as good replacement, but he's not coming IMO. If Marshall surprises us, Watkins should get the call.

With this list obviously several won't get in under the numbers. Obviously Joseph. If we could get a suprise top-flight OL maybe one of the others gets invited to look elsewhere. Means Pooka is out.

All that is conditional on NFL scouts, draft grades, and what the coaches have found out by talking to the eligible players themselves.

Grimes visited some rather long shots in FL and GA... tells me they think both interior OL (Clapp and Brumfield) are staying. Seems they think at least one DB is gone; maybe both. But they definitely have a better feel than my NSWAGs (non-scientific wild arse guesses) and that will shape that list.

And maybe we don't take a QB. To me tells me something about how Narcisse is progressing. Helluva a risk though.
