I agree that Thursday games suck, but blaming all of our injuries on a Thursday game doesn’t hold much water IMO. Falcons fared just fine and were on just as short a week as the Saints. Plus, between both teams, three injuries were concussions which have nothing to do with length of the week.
I think the main issues with Thursday games are they throw off routine/schedule and players are tired. You could argue Klein and Vacarro’s issues were due to short rest since they were fighting injury prior to this week, but I think the other injuries were unrelated.

We had a shorter week AND we had to travel.

Think of it like working out. If you put your body through a grueling workout on sunday. Those muscles and tissues used would not be ready for the same workout on Thursday and injury would be more likely to occur than if done on proper rest. This is known and the league loses all credibility in their stance on safety by not addressing it.
