I just do not like the idea of forcing someone into a conference though. Television has made the conferences and taken away some great games because of it. If you want to be an independent you can be.

Look at SMU Rice and Houston, they were in a Power Conference before the current economic climate. Houston everyone wants to be in one except the people that matter. Tulsa was a power player before the new television era.

I just think keep it as is, in regards to conference affiliation, let the individual school decide.
