And keep in mind that I have never advocated voting for Doug Jones. I find his views on abortion to be morally detestable. I think the path forward should be Roy Moore is elected, hilarity ensues for a while, and then they refuse to seat him, being replaced for a time by someone more acceptable.

I just find it bizarre that Roy Moore is the hill many of the posters here are willing to die on. He was unacceptable for many reasons even before the allegations came out, and it went from comical to depressing for the Republican Party.
