Making friends is easy for some and hard for others. But it doesn't matter if hard or easy, everyone needs to have friends or you will live a lesser life. As said here, just talk to people. Any opportunity you get just try and strike up a convo. Do what ever is necessary to make friends. I'll grant you that it's probably harder to make them now as it was 10 years ago. Devices and social media has turned people a bit more antisocial.
