When they have solid proof and the sourcing and corroboration is pretty much well put together and doesn't leave much wiggle room, hell yes it does.
It's not like the Senator would be going to jail, He would still keep his pension and retire early and that's a pretty good gig if you ask me.

Yes. I don’t want someone with credible accusations of pedophilia or rape sitting in the Senate. The Democrats should have thrown Bill Clinton to the curb in 1992 when the allegations that Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broaddrick.

They wouldn’t have stepped aside if they weren’t guilty. Would you quit your job if someone accused you of something you didn’t do? No you wouldn’t.
