I'm not leaning Kizer but I am considering it because of the matchups.
The best a quarterback has done against the Jags all season was Philip Rivers with 15 points. Roethlisberger had 2, Goff had 8. With Wilson having to travel 3000 miles and coming off a really emotional win I think he is due for a letdown game. A reasonable expectation for him is 15.
Kizer has averaged 17.5 over 4 of the last 5 weeks, three of those game against top 10 pass defenses (14 vs Minny, 22.5 at Detroit, 19.5 at Cincy, and 12.5 at LAC). That 5th game was against the Jags where he put up 5. He is going against the 26th ranked pass defense that's just lost a starting corner and is coming off a poor performance. He's at home and has Josh Gordon, both of which should reenergize the team and the fans. To me he's poised to have one of the biggest if not the biggest game of his season. I think his floor is 15 with 20 being a reasonable expectation.
I'll add my other QB is Big Ben with a terrible matchup as well and the waiver wire is empty (Cutler, Siemian, Manning etc)

Well I talked myself into it if no one else. If the weather isn’t terrible I’m rolling with DeShone
