I've seen every ND game coached by Brian Kelly.
His teams are generally soft. He had a new OC and DC forced upon him this year to try and right the ship. Don't forget -- ND was 4-8 with an NFL starting qb last year.
This new coaching combo worked well, until the second half of the Wakr Forest game. The team was gassed and Wake marched up and down the field. Miami didn't break this team, Wake Forest did and gave the blue print on how to beat them. No huddle, dink and dunk.
Kelly wants to be at ND less than the fans even want him there. He never practices special teams and LSU will return every kick off to at least the 35. I expect the 45.
Wimbush has zero accuracy and Kelly has taken over the OC chores. That has led to the implosion of ND's running game and a schoolyard, chuck it in the air mentality. Kelly will have his team throwing on 3 and 2 inside the 5 all day. Because he thinks his scheme will beat yours. He believes this because he is a soft coach, and his team follows suit.
He doesn't give a shite and is riding out his contract. Ed O will have his team up. ND will roll out flat. I've seen this movie before.

I am an old fart that has spent his life working as opposed to being an internet junkie and even I can tell you are full of ca ca. your post is reminiscent of many anti-O and anti-LSU posts on this board. intentional garbage made by fans of opposing teams. it's really sad to me.

i have been up and down on Kelly. I have never been one to say "he needs to be fired today!" alot of people yell that everytime he loses. I think he is a really good coach, but have wondered after this year (funny that it wasn't during last year) If things are getting a little stale at ND for him and the team. Not saying its a throw him out of town and/or he should be ashamed to leave, just sometimes some fresh air is needed. I am putting a lot of feelings about him on this game though. If they come out with a bad game plan and flat, i think its time. If they can put together a win, ill give him the chance to continue to build this team.

Wake Forest had a really good game plan against ND, but Miami just rolled them. any game plan would have worked that day.

-Hopefully ND scores enough to give your kick return plenty of chances to prove you right (or wrong!). Kelly isn't calling the plays though and i think the new OC is still learning a little bit - i haven't been blown away with him, but willing to try him out for now.
