Looking to get my father in law a bike for him to ride on the beach. I was curious if these bikes could also be used on concrete?
Pro/cons of fat tire bike if anyone has an opinion.
Can regular mountian bikes be used on beach?
Can be used on concrete.
I have one. Love it. Comfortable and stable ride, multiple surfaces. Definitely recommend tubeless set up and disc brakes.
Would not use regular mountain bike on the beach. Tires too skinny.
Some recommendations

Those fat tires take work to move along, if he isn’t actually going to ride on the sand I would not get that type of tire. A cruiser the bike would be better.
