Right and Dinardo’s 96 schedule was weaker by a good margin too but 05 was during the last coach’s tenure so it didn’t seem out of bounds to me.

They’re both football coaches so this idea they can’t be compared is not accurate. Chris Jackson isn’t on Lebron Janes level as a basketball player but he did shoot free throws better than Lebron. The point is just because someone’s success is greater than the other guys doesn’t mean they can’t have similar experiences or that the lesser guy can’t do things better. Ogeron at LSU has a better record vs top 10 teams than Jim Harbaugh does at Michigan, it doesn’t mean he’s a better coach but it’s still the truth.

I think the point was just because someone has a rough start doesn’t mean they can’t have great success. Of course there’s a pretty good chance nobody will ever have Bill Bellichecks success so i get it but he’s someone everyone would know so i get using his name as a comparison.
