re: Why does Jimbo view Texas A&M as a better job than LSU?

Timing was part of it but the bigger answer is A&M simply gave him everything he wanted with the promise of essentially giving him anything else he wants going forward if he wins. Even though the results weren't there the Aggies have given Sumlin a blank check whether it was facilities or going after any assistant he wanted or paying him personally. The Leadership is also fully committed to doing whatever it takes to win. A&M also is only getting richer and there is no reason to think the money spigot shows no signs of slowing down.
LSU has great facilities and deep pockets as well but the last couple of years have shown there are limits. It's a great job with far better recent history and dominates one of the most talent rich states in the country. It just doesn't have quite as deep of pockets as A&M.

I agree with everything but the LSU doesnt have the money. We have the money to give Fisher whatever yall are giving him.
We just have bad leadership

The only real limits are in the chickenshit administration. LSU once made a guy named Nick Saban the 3rd highest paid coach in CFB coming off the 90s. Bidding wars aside, all it takes is leadership with brass balls, which we had at the time, and certainly don't have now.
