That's how Dave Schultz made it sound. But what I took from it was he wanted to have a fullback in the system. On short yardage plays having a single back with no one leading the way seems to be the problem O is having. I also feel the same way, Have someone leading the back. Could also be an option for a fullback drive or a fullback there to push the quarterback on quarterback sneaks. When fournette was here, his favorite player was the fullback.

I agree with this. Guice and Williams are downhill runners, one cut and go. They are built for a power run game and a power I would benefit them. I think there is a happy medium in styles. You can incorporate both.
LSU currently ranks 100Th in red zone offense (FG misses skew the rank somewhat) and 67th in 3rd down conversion percentage.
