He's right though. A few generations ago it was the norm for young girls to marry men much older than themselves. Really the concept of a "teen" being a kid did not exist until the past century or so.

And if there is a story about a 15 year old gangbanger shooting someone tonight these same people will be calling for him to be tried as an adult and sent to the chair.
