I know this is a Javonte Smart thread and I'm very ecstatic about him, but after watching the highlights of him vs RJ Hampton, I must say that Hampton is going to be a STUD. He looks like he has the potential to be a Russell Westbrook type of player. Great shot, Athletic, good size, fast as hell, plays defense.
With that said, I cant wait to see Smart next seas
Yeah Hampton is really good too. There's a reason he's a top 5 recruit in the 2020 class. Keep in mind though that he's a year old for his grade so he should technically be in 11th grade right now but he definitely has a lot of skill and athletic ability for his height and age. Don't know where LSU stands with him but being from Texas the LSU staff should definitely try to jump on him now if possible.

quote:I sure hope Will Wade gets a guy like this. Dude plays the perimeter on offense at a high level and finish inside and out at will as a sophomore (junior level). And the fact that he is a year up is a good thing imo. He basically gets an extra year of training to play at the college level.

Speaking of.... I'm surprised more parents don't intentionally hold their kids back for this very reason. In the sense that mom and dad are athletic specimens and know their kid can dominate at something if trained right.
