Since we hired Canada because of one game where he beat Clemson we should hire their current OC if Canada leaves

It’s literally the same offense

Not hardly. LSU is a long, long way from being a playoff team, with or without the loss to *gasp* Troy.

Yeah, but how come it looks so much better when they run it than when LSU runs it??

They have a really experienced true Frosh at QB.

Without the Troy loss

The Bama loss was more significant. Beat Bama and THEN you can talk about playoffs.

Anyway, the Troy loss should come w/ an asterisk. We would have beaten them in our regular white jerseys.

I think you were probably being a bit facetious with your comment, seeing that since the Troy loss, which was a turning point in this season and one that could have gone either way, we have gone 5-1 and averaged slightly over 26 points per game even though that stretch included games against both #1 Bama and #6 Auburn. Also, Pitt has a number of players with almost two full years of experience with this offense, so maybe they did look a little smoother in running it, but the results were not better.

I think this game showed that Miami was a bit over-rated and their 10-0 record going into this game was largely due to their two biggest wins being over a Florida State team that has been a bit of a dumpster fire since their QB went down early in the season, and the perennially over-ranked Notre Dame. (Can't believe the pollsters still have ND still ranked at #8 with a chance of getting into the playoff).

Will be interesting to see how the rest of this season plays out, especially if Auburn upsets Bama. (Not sure that will happen, but we've all seen some screwy things happen in Jordan-Hare)

What sucks is that if we only had 2 losses right now to Alabama and State, we would have a good chance to get into the CFB playoff.

I can’t imagine the pent up anger West Virginia must have for Pitt

I can. Remember Oklahoma State?
