Yeah - this place is getting boring now that we have lost the likes of Rex - at least he could put together complete sentences with a logical basis. He was selective on what facts he considered in making his points, but he was able to defend his positions with the data he chose.

Only thing I didn't like about Rex, is he would just disappear when the entire fact pattern was brought into his debate and he could no longer defend his position. Never admitted being wrong about anything - just disappeared.

Yep. It's strange. At the time we didn't know how much worse than Rex it could get. Rex was insufferable and arrogant. However, he would at least stick around until he had no other option than to admit he was wrong or disappear. VB was also a pretty fun guy to debate with. Both of them are actually intelligent people. These new guys are all so lazy and trite. And intelligence is something I have yet to see from many of them. The OP being a prime example.
