Very sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to our dachshund too. We didn't have the money for the surgery. He lost control of his "bathroom moments", and had no quality of life. The gut-wrenching decision to put him down was made, and it broke our hearts. I hope everything works out for you, in whatever decision you make.
