Do the Pelicans plan to sign Boogie long term, trade him, or let teams offer the max in free agency?
The plan is most certainly to resign him long term. Things would have to go really sideways in a "fire everybody" kind of way for them to trade Cousins. With the Clippers, Jazz and Nuggets all having big injuries, the Pelicans may need to do nothing more than stay relatively healthy to make the playoffs.
Any AD trade talk is all coming from other teams.

With Rondo healthy, AD and Boogie should feast in the post. Double and triple teams get wide open shots. I’d love to see the Pels in the playoffs.
AD should have enough clout to get Boogie signed. They are close and they both could use a little of each personality to help each other. Boogie could calm down a little and AD could use a little Boogie fire.
I’d like another Kentucky player with this team. Devin Booker would get wide open 3’s.
