Why would Gus bolt for Arkansas in the first place? Do people really think that Arkansas is a better job than Auburn?

He's from Arkansas and he may be tired of being on/off the hotseat like musical chairs. I don't think anyone is arguing Arkansas is a better job objectively.

If he loses to Bama this weekend, I'm sure he'll explain why he took the Arky job in his press conference middle of next week.

If he beats Bama this weekend, but loses to UGA, he'll explain it in his press conference the following week.

If he wins the next two games, we may never know why he is very strongly considering making that move.

Generally no, but Gus might be more secure, happier and better off there in the long run.

Gus would be paid more at Auburn? nope

Gus would have more stability at Auburn? nope

Better quality of life there at Auburn? nope

But its all about this "prestige" of the program right? Yeah that sums it up. Auburn is a better job than Arkansas.
