I think it would be an interesting case from a legal standpoint (though I doubt any lawsuits will be filed)

1. Is what the newspapers are reporting wrong? Is what they are reporting right? Can we even figure that out?

2. Moore is a public figure. Thus, in order to prove libel/slander/defamation he would likely have to show actual malice on the part of the newspapers. However, assuming what is reported is inaccurate, does the timing of the report (i.e. reporting on 40 year old allegations, that may be false, weeks before an election) contribute to a "malice" argument?

3. I doubt the newspapers are holding anything back. There is no benefit in them doing so. If they have it, they would report it. If they AREN'T reporting it it is because they can't verify the information.
