East Texas is Southern and very similar to Louisiana. Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio are not Southern. Most people in Texas don’t consider themselves Southern at all. They want to be called Texans.

Most people in Louisiana consider themselves Lousianans or Cajuns. Guess Louisiana isn't a part of the South
