The Packers are not making the playoffs, and the Packers don't have national appeal while Rodgers is injured.

This decision is a slap in the face to the Saints if it happens. You can't deny this is the best game and the purpose of flex scheduling is to give us the best game.

NFL says the the purpose is to ensure quality matchups. No promise of the best game is mentioned.

The Packers are 5-4 and with a win jump to at least the 7th seed after this week. Whether you think they will make the playoffs or not, it doesn't matter. They're in contention and their fan bases across American will tune in which would crush the ratings of any Saints game

If that's the case why aren't the Rams playing the Vikings this week on Sunday Night?
