So this is last week with Byes.

I like to start handcuffing going fwd.

I've got Bell and Hunt....Would you drop the following to handcuff these guys with Connor & West??

Dion Lewis & M Lynch

I mean, I only used these guys for Bye weeks and hope to not play them again

Dion yes, Lynch no

in the event of an injury to either of those backs I’d rather start Lynch over either

While Gordon is a perpetual sub 4 ypc back, dump off to Ekeler were about the only offense they could muster vs JAX

That said, he is one of the top handcuffs given the volume he would fall into on the ground and in the air. Not many handcuffs have a direct path to the bulk of the carries.

Breida, Ekeler, Chark West, Conner (meh) are a few of the ones who would fall into top 10 RB kinda situations if an injury were to occur

So Gyno, what are your thoughts on me dropping Lewis & Lynch for West & Connor (I own both Bell & Hunt)

If you’ll never use them and no one else will benefit from them

I’m of the opinion of I’d rarher just own the best handcuff guys as opposed to handcuffing my own RBs

In your case I’d def own West. I think Lynch may be better than Conner. In fact I’d own ekeler over dinner just bc Gordon has that knee that never seems to go away. I would prob do Breida before him so given the volume through the air the SF RB is seeing and Hyde isn’t a pillar of health

It really depends on the rest of your team. While those two would be more valuable than a Lewis if their starters went out, Lewis would be a nice fill in if any other of your players got hurt.
So it's not clear cut and depends on rest of roster. But I would start trimming the "you are what you are" no upside type players for handcuffs.
