I have always been a fan of Les as a man but not so much as a coach. I have listened to all of the episodes and he is clearly what we have always heard. Loves LSU, family man, and very loyal. Great guy just too stubborn to keep his job.

He is stubborn but that comes from doing what HE thinks is best for team success. Most of the great coaches are stubborn.
No one knew their job was in jeopardy more than Les. But when you have Fournette vs Harris and a championship roster full of NFL draft picks what would you do? Turn the game over to Brandon Harris?
Les didnt lose his job because of stubborness, he lost it because of his decision to hire and then keep Cam Cameron, who didnt recruit or develop a decent QB after 2012 and the decision to start Brandon Harris over Etling.
He also ran into 2 very good teams in Auburn and Wisconsin on the road.
To stick with Cam and Harris were his decisions and it cost him his job, it is what it is. Les understood that.
Some call it "stubborn" others call it he's no "sell out" and will always do what he thinks is best for the team, regardless of the Joe Alleva's of the world.
Pick one, its a legitimate argument either way.
