“One black man down,” a woman yelled hysterically at police. “One black man down. I hope y’all sleep good tonight. … He’s gone. What the f*** y’all investigating?”
More than two hours after the shooting, tension erupted into chants of “back up don’t shoot.” The chanting and music from the onlookers continued into the night.
Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome issued a written statement late Monday about the shooting: "I am closely monitoring the Baton Rouge Police Department officer-involved shooting that took place tonight. Per protocol, the Louisiana State Police is investigating this case. I am sure that the LSP will demonstrate the highest level of transparency throughout this investigation. I ask that the community withhold judgment on this incident until the LSP concludes its work."
quote:
One woman who lives in the complex said the shooting took place about 10 feet from her front door; she saw only the immediate aftermath.
She said the victim was a young man. “I know one thing: That little boy had no weapon,” she said, declining to give her name but identifying herself as a complex resident and identifying the victim as someone she knew.
She said just after he was shot, the victim tried to run from police. He then saw her and told her: “Tell my momma and my auntie that I love them and I’m sorry.”

Gary Chambers is human filth.

I'm sure he wasn't armed and was complying with the officer's orders. He was targeted because of his race. Nothing to do with the crime he may or may not have (yeah right) committed.

Why? No matter what it shows the SJWs and BLM will claim police brutality.

Word on the street is that This is the dude who burned his baby by leaving her on the stove and she had like five broken bones in 2014. A Child services regular. No verification yet.

Toney left the girl sitting on a counter next to a hot stove on Oct. 2, 2012, and walked away, police records show. The girl, who was 1 year old at the time, suffered third-degree burns to her arm, wrist and hand. Doctors found multiple fractures in various stages of healing on the girl’s body, and police arrested both parents.
Such lovely people that really cared about their kids
