Kind of reminds me of 2011. Had some good SEC teams as always, plus we had Oregon and West Virginia.

Most of the SEC slate for LSU that year though turned out to be weaker that what it appeared to be before the start of the season.

Other than Bama and Arkansas having big years, the rest of the conference schedule:

AU: 7-5
UF: 6-6
Tenn: 5-7
MSU: 6-6
OM: 2-10
UK: 5-7

In 2011 LSU had two quarterbacks with significant experience returning.

Yep, beat three BCS bowl winners in one season. One of the all time great seasons of any team.
