re: What lb test are you using for reds??

I was using 20# power pro braid. But it is so damn thin it will get caught in split rings and knots are a bitch to untangle. Bumped up to 30# and it helped significantly. Plus you get more miles out of a spool since it is thicker. shite is expensive and the tiny diameter of smaller strength braids just takes too much to fill up a reel.

Go 30# power pro and don’t look back. No need to use a shock leader and the line won’t go bad so quickly like mono does.
