Greetings,

I'll be traveling down to Knoxville for the LSU game and would appreciate recommendations for restaurants/bars. Arriving early afternoon on Friday, want to start off with a good happy hour spot then transition to dinner followed up with bar hopping.

My krewe will be going to the Travleing Tigers tailgate party at Calhoun’s On the River from 3:30-5:30. Is there a better spot for lunch and watching the early games?

Good spots for a post game drink and Sunday brunch would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Barley's is a decent bar and has good pizza.

Downtown Grill and Brewery is pretty decent too.

Not much else around Calhoun's, it's by itself over there. Ruth's Chris is over there too.

Tomatohead is a good spot for food in Market Square, bunch of decent stuff around there too.

Preservation Pub is another decent bar.

Strip is where all the college kids party and drink.

French Market has great crepes and breakfast for sunday.

Go to Market Square and either go to Tomato Head or get a burger at Stock and Barrel.
