Love Lou Holtz aka Daffy Duck, talking about his 1988 team..

Both teams are highly overrated.

To me, these are a couple of examples that represent teams that have "earned the right" to be in the playoff picture, but aren't really good enough to be serious contenders in a discussion of the "best teams."

If you expand past 4 teams in the playoff, then you have a better chance of giving all of those teams that have "earned" it, but you've probably expanded past the teams that are head and shoulders above everyone else.

I don't think either team is any count.

I guess I think ND controls the game on the ground and pounds out a win. Something like a 17-27 score.

I am still waiting for Lou Holtz to kick Jimmie Johnson's arse, as was chronicled in the 30 for 30 about the original Catholics vs. Convicts.

Notre Dame is going to continue to roll up tons of rushing yards.

Looking forward to this game. I hope Miami wins but I’m thinking that they get overpowered in a moderately low scoring affair. Something like 21-13 Irish.

I get that ND's rushing attack is stout. But have they really played anyone that threatening on the defensive side of the ball since UGA?

Furthermore, I'm rooting for Mark Richt's scrotch the earth campaign. Hopefully he can get revenge on UGA in a playoff game.

UGA would beat Miami by 3 touchdowns

what has made Miami so threatening on defense?

they havent played a P5 offense ranked better than 50 (GT), the next is ranked 69 (Syracuse).
