Carlos Santana is 32 and their only true proven MLB hitter

Herrera is a .288/.344/.430 hitter in 400 games... I would think he is proven.... hernandez is a .284/.357/.379 hitter in 500 games.... Yeah they are young but they have "proven" hitters as well. I also like the potential of Hoskins from what he showed last year and the potential that Franco, Williams, and Crawford have.

Arrieta, Nola, Eickhoff, and Velasquez is not a bad 4 either assuming Eickhoff gets back to what he was 2 years ago rather than last year.

I just don’t really understand the Phillies team. I know it’s only 3 years but 75 million is a lot for a guy with an arm that most don’t expect to hold up. They have some decent young talent but I don’t see that being near enough to complete.

I don't think you are in a great spot when your 2nd & 3rd best established hitters are Odubel Herrera and Caesar Hernandez.
