It’s also the worst part of college football. So many teams can just check out by now with only 10-15 realistic opportunities to make the Four. I mean we watch cause the college game is awesome, but the season is over for 90% of FBS.

I think 8 is the proper number. Enough for every game to still matter heavily yet just enough wiggle room for those 2 loss teams in late October and November to stay invested in maybe pulling off a miracle stretch to finish the season.

college football ain't just the CFP... You have conference championships, rivalry games, bowl eligibility to worry about
