There is nothing like a real tree, but last year, we got a prelit fake one. I’m never going back.
My tree goes up the day after thanksgiving, but my lights go up the week of thanksgiving. I’m off work that whole week. Black Friday, the lights get turned on.

Usually I wait til around Thanksgiving but I'll be out of town for two weeks and we got a brand new pre-lit. That bitch is going up tonight!
