It's just on multiplayer. People act like a lot of WWI/WWII games haven't taken creative liberties to make them more fun.
BF1 has a shite ton of weapons in multiplayer that weren't mass produced in large numbers or even saw field service, yet no one complained.
World of Tanks has put tanks in the game that only had a prototype built and were never produced, no one complains.
