IMO it’s still in conspiracy theory realm until some dots can be connected.
It would be uncharacteristicly sloppy and involve enough people to easily prove if true.

I think we're gonna be OK so long as Trump stops pissing off Canada and Australia.

If Pizza-gate, birther-gate, and Seth Rich didn't convince people to think long and hard before swallowing Fox News, Breit-Bart, The Daily Caller, and Trump tweets at face value, facts are unlikely to change anything at this point.
Far too many righties have convinced themselves that the most disreputable institutions and politicians are in fact the most credible ones on offer.
