4 days enough? Haven't been as a family yet and looking to do it this year.
The "best" time of year is very subjective. There are very few slow times now although late January through February skipping spring break and mardi gras is the least crowded now. You usually get decent weather then too. And if you are new to all of this and want some help, Disney is closely associated with many travel agents who will help you for free. Disney pays them, not you.

Say we wanted to squeeze this in after Christmas pre New Years or in that stretch and possibly be out there for New Years, what would it run us?
Also I guess next option would be go around Mardi Gras time Feb 9-12th'sh 2018....
