Tip: go and make your fastpasses now if you haven't already. They allow booking them 3 months in advance, so most of the good time slots and rides may be fully booked already.

That isn't quite true. The soonest you can book fastpasses is 60 days out IF you are staying onsite. Otherwise, 30 days. If they stay on site they already missed the 60 day mark but it only really matters for the most popular rides like Flight of Passage in AK and 7 Dwarves Mine Train in MK. Otherwise, you should still get what you want, may just have to be flexible on the time but keep refreshing every day and I bet you get what you want AND when you want it.
