So.. he wasn’t even a Tiger to me. Got no use for this guy. Couldn’t finish a year.

The fault lies with the ridiculous system devised by the blood-sucking NCAA and the NBA...the kid was forced into the situation and further forced by family connections to attend a school with a terrible coach with little to no talent around him.

He didn't have to play in college. He could have played overseas for a year. And like I said earlier, all the kids who only stay for 1 year at Kentucky at least acted like they gave a shite about the team. There was enough talent on that team Simmons was on to get to the tournament, but he gave zero fricks.

All of this. The LSU AD made millions marketing him as the product, while he lost tens of millions having to waste time in college. He played for a terrible coach who could not get the team to perform which made the exploitation of Simmons even more unbearable to him. Fans also treated him like crap hounding him for autographs which were then flipped on ebay.

I enjoyed watching him for a year. And his talent was evident. He carried that team. There wasn't a lot of difference between the team he was on that was competitive and almost knocked off #1 Oklahoma and the team that went 2-16 in the SEC the year after he left.
