re: Short stop, circuit breaker on boat electrical system

I had a breaker like the one shown in your post. It was installed by the dealer for use with my 36 volt Minn Kota. Mine used to trip quite often and I had similar issues after replacing it. I have read several posts and articles and if your trolling motor is 36 volts I would suggest getting the proper breaker directly from Minn Kota. This is what I did and have not had any problems since.
