Their style of defense leaves holes in coverage over the middle behind the LBs and in the zone between the CBs and safeties outside of the hash. Problem is it takes timing, accuracy and protection to exploit those areas as well as referees who will not allow the CBs to get too physical at the line of scrimmage, all things that favor Bama.
LSU WRs should run pick plays all game and force the refs to call it to allow WRs more of a clean release. It's basically what Clemson did to them "rub routes" off of a quick play action in shotgun. Get LBs to step up and throw behind them or rub the coverage off of the slot WRs on quick outs.
If LSU isn't running the "interference" routes, it'll be a long game. Gotta force the refs to call it. Can be done out of bunch formations too, but bunching can slow down a release from the line of scrimmage to get all the receivers out in formation. If you hold the ball against Bama, you will play into their strength.
