I know they are simple. He is accustomed to a touch screen however. You and I didn't have to make that switch.

He has to constantly look down at the controller instead of the screen in order to push the right button, which unfortunately often time results in mario's death for instance.

With a touchscreen, you don't have that problem. I imagine though, that his fingers will gain the muscle memory eventually.

I suppose I'm trying to see if there are any games out there that could help him learn how to use the controller without the quick risk of death and frustration that comes along with that.
