There is another poster, who has not posted in a little while, who seems heavily invested (he is the one that claims to know you personally). He is the one I was referring to when talking about bashing other QB recruits. Maybe he doesn't know Quad on the level you do, but his post are being lumped together with yours. Maybe wrongfully so.

Haven't said that or think that. I do believe he has a VERY bright future. I have never said he is the greatest QB recruit of all time

This wasn't a shot at you at all. Just saying I understand where you are at in the situation. I fully get that to every kids dad, coach, uncle, brother, will view him to be better than he actually is. Thats human nature. The stronger arm than Jamarcus and better than Winston comments is what led to me making that statement (and I get that some of those things may have been told to you by others and you just brought the info....still, its a lack of reality in my opinion).

Can you please link us to this rating? If someone TOLD you he is rated higher, but it doesnt show up anywhere, they were possibly blowing smoke up your arse. Im not saying he won't be an amazing college QB at all. I really really hope he is, wherever he goes (unless he is playing LSU). Just seems like a lot of people are saying...saying..saying..and saying...but nobody is doing. If he was better than Winston with a Jamarcus arm, he would be all over recruiting sites, is all I'm saying.

Winstons dad is the one that said this about Quad relative to JW.

The Jamarcus comment was made by an NFL Scout guy that works with Qb's for a living and has a long track record for knowing what he is talking about.

I sure would love to. Maybe the are blowing smoke. They work for Rivals. Seems sort of risky on there part to tell me they are going to be rated a certain rating, and then to not post it like they said they would. All I know is the guy drove down to see him in person, and said his rating would be posted soon. He told me in detail what the rating was. Maybe he is lying. I am still waiting on him to post all of Quads offers which 247 has posted accurately. So maybe he's just busy. Who knows?

Tiger, you put it perfectly with the saying saying saying and not doing statement. I would also say the other poster is much more at fault, he's basically laughed at LSU for offering Gunnell and Tyson, two of the better QB's in the class. That's just way to far out there, and kind of an eyebrow raiser.
