Good Morning. Stud Bud and L-Town talked me into coming back. I think a few things need to be addressed in the spirit of keeping this thread rolling.

1. Lets try and keep this about updates, and encouragement. There is so much trash and negativity on the rant. If someone wants to debate Quads skill set or his ability to make it to the next level feel free to start another thread.

2. I want to apologize for offending a few posters regarding comparing Quad to other QB's on the roster. I stand firm with my stance on the issues considering several variables, and I disagree the comparison was disrespectful. If I say that Darius Guice is better than Saquan Barkley, or that Alvin Kamara has more upside in the NFL than Leonard Fournette, or Peyton Manning is better than Tom Brady or Jordan better than Labron, thats not disrespecting or even putting down the other guy.

Just because I believe one player is better, or has more upside, etc doesn't mean I think the other player isn't outstanding. I believe that both Lowell and Myles have the potential to be game changing players. That doesn't change my stance on what I said regarding Quad.

Having said that I apologize for offending anyone.

3. So back to the updates.....

Quad has been offered by UAB, Eastern Kentucky, and Southern MS. Georgia State, Vanderbilt, and Duke are expected to be the next teams to offer over the next few days. Arkansas, TN and South Carolina are close to pulling the trigger as well. They may wait until after 3 Stripe in Feb.

As far as LSU is concerned, Coach Ensminger has stayed in contact with Quad after the visit last week. From what I gather, they are really focused on trying to close Foster, and don't want to run off Gunnel.

From what we have been told, I can see an offer shake out from LSU pretty quickly should they not sign Foster. If they do sign Foster (which I have heard he is a silent commit) , my bet is LSU will wait until this Summer after Quad has camped, should he still want to camp at LSU by then. We will see.

Like I have said from the beginning if offered Quad will be a Tiger, with the only disclaimer being that if Quad has 10-20 offers prior to LSU offering, and other schools treat Quad like a priority, that would throw some doubt into the scenario.

We will see. All in all, everything is positive on our end. Quad did well in the NPA combine this past weekend. I would have liked to see him throw the mid range balls with a little bit more cleanliness, but considering he hasn't thrown a ball in 2 months, and has been playing Basketball, I was happy with his performance, against some SICK DB talent. He throws the mid-range balls really well, but from my Coaching POV, he dropped the back elbow too low and he locked his front leg on a few throws.

Again, this is a product of playing B-Ball and not really throwing. We will tighten this up quickly after B-Ball season.

Rivals will have his rating posted soon. They called him one of the most talented QB's they have seen in a while. So that's good.

Thats it for now. Feel free to ask questions.
